Do you get any error message or error code? Follow these methods and let us know the results: Method 1: Run the Printer Troubleshooter. Type “ Troubleshooting” in the search bar. On the “ Troubleshooting” window, click on “ View All” on the left pane.
Click on “ Printer”. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the troubleshooting process. Check if you are able to scan. If not, try the next method. Note: Before moving on to the next method, check for any latest Windows updates and install it. Method 2: Uninstall the current driver and update to the latest drivers from the Manufacturer’s website. Step 1: Download the latest drivers from the Brothers’ website for your printer.

(Brother MFC-7360N) I followed the troubleshooting steps, no resolution. I installed the drivers from the original drivers disk that came with the machine, no resolution. I downloaded the more recent drivers from brother.com, no resolution. I uninstalled the drivers and then reinstalled, no resolution.
Windows 10 doesn't recognize the printer as any of its component parts, but as a 'composite device' that has no manufacturer or other specifications: Any information or help is much appreciated.
